How do you wash a Sinclair rug?
Washing instructions vary by size. Sizes up to 5' x 7'6" and all runners fit in a household washing machine with a capacity of at least 3.4 cubic feet. The 7'6" x 9'6" size requires a machine with a capacity of at least 4.8 cubic feet. The 8'6" x 11'6" size requires a commercial machine with a capacity of at least 80 lb. In all cases, use a gentle cycle, cold water and mild detergent, with no bleach. Lay flat or hang to dry—never tumble dry. A non-slip rug pad is recommended on all surfaces.

Is Sinclair suitable for heated floors?
Yes—Sinclair’s machine-woven construction and low 0.25-inch pile are compatible with hydronic and electric underfloor heating systems. The low pile allows better heat transfer than high-pile rugs. A thin rug pad is recommended so it does not block heat distribution.
